Senior Group Accounting Manager – Harrogate – £50,000 – £55,000 – Hybrid Working

I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Group Accounting Manager to join a PE owned business that has doubled its turnover since 2020 through acquisitions and organic growth. With more exciting acquisitions on the horizon, this role will quickly progress alongside the business.

Our client is ideally looking for a qualified technical accountant that is looking for their first challenging role within industry. The position will manage a small team of 2, including a qualified accountant and a part qualified accounts assistant.

Key duties

* Produce the Monthly Consolidation and Board Pack
* Oversee the weekly forecasting process for Revenue/EBITDA and weekly financial report to the PE firm
* Mentoring and developing the qualified accountant and accounts assistant
* Ensure that Bank Reporting and Covenant Calculations are prepared on time
* Ensure the monthly group reporting procedures and deadlines are achieved to a high standard
* Assist with integration of divisional companies
* Develop and implement clear and documented accounting processes and controls
* Technical responsibility for acquisition accounting
* Responsible for production of Statutory Accounts

To be considered for the role you ill need to be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a strong background in financial accounting, ideally you will have trained with a recognised accountancy practice.
